The Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado bring two worlds together in an uncanny and beautiful landscape. The arid and desolate dunes of sand akin to the driest parts of the Earth collide with icy snow covered peaks. The juxtaposing environments have always been entrancing to me, and this piece truly felt like something that captured the essence of the scenery. The dunes have always been a touchstone for me as a photographer, always being something I feel a longing to return to, and never ceasing to amaze me.
