The Painted Sea

As the sun gets low by the beach, each wave the crests gets hit with a beautiful backlight from the sun and shows a lovely bright orange glow through itself. This longer exposure allowed me to capture those colors while also giving the piece a more ethereal and painterly atmosphere. The dichotomy between the frigid water and the glowing sun shines through here, displaying the harmony of elements so vastly different in nature.
