Sundown Over The Valley
Limited Run of 25

In search of a new angle for Yosemite's famous Firefall, we found ourselves in the company of a some incredible people that knew of a vantage point up the eastern side of the valley. After familiarizing with the group, we set out on a two hour hike filled with absurd inclines, boulder fields, massive altitude changes, slippery slopes and makeshift paths. Emerging out of the trees, around a hundred meters south of the base of Sentinel Falls, we looked back and saw the most incredible view of the valley. Unobstructed by foliage, we could see it all. Thousands of gargantuan pines now appeared to us as blades of grass, illuminated by the setting sun. El Capitan's massive granite face was kissed with light. Horsetail Fall's mist struck a warm glow as the final beams of sunlight pierced the water. Truly, the view was one of the most beautiful that we have been fortunate enough to witness.
