Clouds roll in over Estes Park in October, shrouding the upper mountains and hills in mystery. The aspen trees still glow with the brilliant yellow tone from the fall, and snow drizzles onto the evergreens along the mountainside. This fascinating moment showcases the passage of time and changing of seasons so beautifully, as both autumn and winter are seen. Combined with the stillness of water that resides beneath the barren bank, so many changing and evolving elements of nature can be seen.
