Deep in the heart of a seemingly infinite aspen forest in East Vail, the autumn yellow contrasted beautifully with the sky. Capturing this scene has been an elusive goal for years, always trying to time the season right, getting the correct amount of sky and finding the right forest for it. The yellow of an aspen tree is a fleeting thing that shows the beauty of abscission and change.
