As this massive bull elk lifted his head to the light the antlers caught the sun. These incredible structures were highlighted and shadowed in such a beautiful way. This piece is an homage to antlers themselves. The incredible cyclical nature of them, the weathering of them and all that they endure every year. The horns signal a new season approaching and serve as an icon of beauty and power in the Rocky Mountains.
